At Home Inspections by Foster, our Inspectors provide a comprehensive, in-depth home inspection.  This inspection is like a snap shot in time -- it will show the home as it exists at that day and time.

The inspection is a visual exam of the structure and mechanical systems of the home staritn at the foundation and extending to the roof - and all areas inbetween.

• Destructive testing or dismantling is not done during an inspection.  The Inspector will look for potential hidden problems.

• Our thorough inspection usually takes 2 to 4 hours - depending on the size of the home and the number of items to be covered:  attics, water heaters, central systems, etc.

• A comprehensive, typed report will be transmitted by e-mail the next afternoon, including color digital photos.  Fax service is also available for the report.  Our reports are computer generated, detailed, and written in plain language.

• If available, the age of the mechanical equipment is noted in the report.

• A photo CD and hard copy of the report will be mailed for your records.

• Fireplace and Chimney

• Patios, Decks

Mechanical -

• Electrical Service - Panels and Branch Circuits

• Heating and Air Conditioning Systems (weather permitting)

• Plumbing Systems - Fixtures, Suppliy Lines, Drain, and Vents

• Fixed Kitchen Appliances (Range, Dishwasher, Disposal, etc.)             (Washing machine and dryer are not tested)
